The switch on event, to be held on Friday 1st December, if free to all and includes activities and prizes but it does cost a lot - to have the lights professionally stored, put up and taken down; to gradually replace lights and trees as needed since they are now entering their second decade; and occasionally to add to the inventory, this year we have provided lights for the railings around Stockbridge Primary School.

For many years we have been indebted to Cllr Richard Foord and Cllr Derek Smith for putting up the lit trees but they tell us that they are not getting any younger and so we’d like to take this opportunity to thank them and to appeal to younger residents to take over. Richard and Derek will give training and support so please get in touch if you would like to help.

If you enjoy the event and would like to give a donation, however big or small, the bank details are:
